End-of-season slides for our under-12 soccer team's parents' night. 9 wins and 3 losses, most improved players, the trophy, and summer camp dates. Fun for the kids too.
Companies, people and numbers in the example briefs are made up, unless they’re public facts like history or science.
The look Cue chose
Kit day
Big flat blocks of team blue, pitch green and sun yellow, with tall poster letters like a matchday banner

Motion
Snappy and physical, like a whistle blowing. Fields of colour wipe in from the left with a hard ease-out in 0.6s. Words rise one at a time from behind a line, 80ms apart. Numbers count up fast and stop on a beat. Photos drift very slowly. Nothing bounces, nothing spins.
Transitions
Hard wipes from the left between colour fields (0.6s). A push when the story moves forward to the next part of the season. A plain fade only into and out of photo slides.
Slide by slide
8 slides, with what the presenter says. Highlighted words are cues: saying them makes something on the slide move.
1
Cover
Opens with a fade
Welcome, everyone. Players, parents, thank you for coming tonight. We had a great season, and tonight we celebrate it together.
2
The record
Enters with a push
This season we played twelve games. Each ball here is one game. We got nine wins. Nine! And we had three losses, and we learned from every one of them.
3
Whole team
Enters with a wipe
We did not win with one star. We won as a team. Look how the ball got passed, from our keeper, through the middle, up to the front. Then into the goal. And the kids on the bench cheered for every single pass.
4
Most improved
Enters with a slide over
Winning is great. But growing is just as great. Lots of you got so much better this year. You kicked harder, you passed smarter, and you never gave up. Now I will call out our most improved players. Get ready to cheer loud for them.
5
Team trophy
Enters with a split
This next prize is for everybody. Look at this trophy. It does not go to one player. It goes to the whole team, because we won it together.
6
Thank parents
Enters with a dissolve
Now kids, turn around and look at your parents. They drove you to every game. Thank you for every ride and every snack. And thank you for every loud cheer from the side of the field.
7
Summer camp
Enters with a zoom through
That was this season. Nine wins, and tonight we party. But we are not done yet. Next comes summer camp, with sunshine, cones and lots of balls. We will share the dates very soon.
8
Sign up
Enters with a fade
So here is the one thing to do tonight. Please sign up for summer camp. We want every one of you back. Let's play together again.
Make one like it.
