Frequently asked questions
What are credits?
Credits measure the AI work Cue does for you, such as building a deck, making changes with the Cue agent, or exporting video. Each plan includes credits every month, and Cue shows the cost of an action before you start it. Editing by hand, presenting and sharing never use credits.
What happens if I run out of credits?
On a paid plan you can buy a credit pack at any time, or wait for your monthly credits to refresh. On the Free plan, your credits refresh each month. Your existing decks stay available either way.
Do unused credits roll over?
Monthly plan credits expire at the end of each month and don’t roll over. Credits from a credit pack last 12 months from purchase.
Is there a free trial?
The Free plan works as a trial, with no card required. During early access you get 100 credits when you join before 30 November; after that, new accounts start with 25.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. You can cancel from your billing settings at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
What is your refund policy?
You can request a refund within 14 days of a payment if you haven’t used any credits since that payment. Purchases that have been used are not refundable, and every request is reviewed case by case. Billing errors are always refunded. See our Refund Policy for details.
Who qualifies for the Student plan?
Anyone enrolled at a school, college or university who signs up with their school email address (for example .edu or .ac.uk). If your school isn’t recognised, contact hello@cueslides.com.
Should I pay monthly or yearly?
Paying yearly saves a fifth on Student, a fifth on Pro and about a sixth on Team. Your credits still arrive every month.
How are payments and taxes handled?
Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, which accepts major cards and other local payment methods. Prices are shown in US dollars before tax; Paddle adds any sales tax, VAT or GST for your location and shows the final amount before you pay. For help with a payment, visit paddle.net.
How does billing work for teams?
Team is billed per seat, for one to a hundred seats, with one shared pool of credits and one invoice.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. See our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
